Hello and welcome to my Thrustmaster TS-PC Racer Review. If you are a first-time reader welcome and I hope you enjoy the website. I have been involved in sim racing for over 30 years and have played racing games from the Commodore 64 days right through to modern day titles (yes I am old). Without further ado, let’s get on with the review.
Don’t let the looks fool you, the Thrustmaster TS-PC Racer wheel rim is not as ugly in real life as it looks in the pics. The wheel provides a full 1080 degree of rotation. A quick release system that allows you to swap the wheel rim with any of the others that Thrustmaster makes.
Thrustmaster TS-PC Racer At A Glance
Good: Good force feedback, the quick exchange of wheel rims
Not So Good: Standard wheel rim may not appeal to everyone. Turbo power supply looks gimmicky.
Overall Take: The Thrustmaster TS-PC has excellent force feedback for a nondirect drive wheel. Sparco and Ferrari licenses may appeal to some

Now as someone that has not used any of the Direct Drive or high-end Fanatec products I don’t know how the TS-PC Racer compares so I can only go by the wheels that I have used which are Logitech Wheels and the Fanatec CSR Forza edition wheel.
The wheel was easy to set up and easily screwed onto my race rig. The wheel attachment as a quick release of sorts. You basically push the wheel onto the wheelbase screw the collar on and then with screw in a grub screw to hold it all together. I have heard through forums that wheel can feel flimsy at times and this normally due to grub screw either working its way loose or not being screwed in at all.
The first game I tried the wheel with was iRacing which is my sim of choice and all I can say is WOW!!!! the wheel feels fantastic at stock settings with a nice firm feel especially around the center and makes for nice smooth wheel inputs. I felt myself turning the wheel smoother and more control over my Fanatec wheel.
The wheel attachment that comes with the wheelbase also feels really nice and is a nice size that suits my physique. I have played pCars2, F1 2017 and Forza Motorsport 7 all with same results the force feedback feels amazing and I’m sure I’m turning the car in with more control and a better feel for what the car is doing. I have found myself just doing lap after lap with a big grin on my face.
