Hello and welcome to my review of the Thrustmaster Sparco Shifter and Handbrake. I will discuss the pros and cons of the Sparco shifter and handbrake. So you can make an informed decision based on your needs and budget.
Before we get started on the review. I’ll tell you a little about myself. I have been involved in computer building and sim racing for over 30 years. Dating back to the C64 right through to modern-day titles. But less about me lets get started with the review.
Thrustmaster Sparco Shifter and Handbrake Review
Out of the box the Sparco shifter is a big unit being around two times the size of the TH8A shifter in terms of height and length.
It’s a heavy bulky item and chock full of metal which gives the whole unit a professional feel.
The Sparco shifter and handbrake hooked straight up no problem and functioned without any issue. The mounting clamp, by the way, is strong enough alone to not need the optional hard mount. The tension screw is a nice feature.
The handbrake has two adjustable options allowing an upright position for rallying and a horizontal option for GT and touring car racing.
