Hello and welcome to my review of the Logitech G29 Racing Wheel. If your a first-time reader welcome and I hope you find my site and reviews informative. A little about myself before I get started on this review.
I have been playing racing sims for over 30 years from back in the days when a Commodore 64 was the next best thing. I have also being involved in the computer support industry for over 15 years. Enough about me and let’s get started with the review.
Logitech G29 Racing Wheel Review
The Logitech G29 is one of Logitech’s flagship wheel and pedal combinations and makes for a good entry wheel and pedal set for someone starting out with sim racing or someone that is more budget conscious.
The Logitech G29 like other Logitech wheels is very reliable and an excellent buy for budget-minded sim racing enthusiasts. The force feedback as would be expected from a budget wheel can be a little clunky and won’t offer the same feel as the more expensive brands.
The pedals are a major improvement over the previous generation of Logitech wheels but not up to the standard of the entry level Fanatec or Thrustmaster pedal sets but that is to be expected from a budget-friendly wheel. You can always upgrade the pedals at a later date.
The operation of the wheel is smooth and it’s being noted to be quieter in operating comparing it to the Logitech DFP.
The Metal Shifters are a welcome edition to the wheel and it feels like a sledge hammer will be needed to break them.

Good: Good quality entry level wheel for new users to sim racing or the budget conscious gamer.
Not So Good: The wheel can develop an annoying squeaking sound
Overall Take: Quality wheel, leather-wrapped and with good force feedback. One of the best entry level wheels.

Final Take
The Logitech G29 is a good buy if your a budget conscious gamer or new to sim racing and want to see what all the fuss is about. Logitech has a good reputation for reliability and I have never had any issues with Logitech Wheels in the past.
