Fanatec Clubsport V3 Pedals

Hello and welcome to my Fanatec Clubsport V3 Pedals Review.    If you are a first-time reader welcome and I hope you enjoy the website.  I have been involved in sim racing for over 30 years and have played racing games from the Commodore 64 days right through to modern day titles (yes I am old).  Without further ado, let’s get on with the review.

The Fanatec Clubsport V3 Pedals are the newest pedal set from Fanatec and replace the V2 pedals.  I have owned the V2 elites previously and I would have to say the Clubsport V3’s are a class above anything I have used before.  The pedals are more professional looking than the V2’s and are a lot easier to adjust so I feel Fanatec has made some real improvements over the previous model.

Fanatec Clubsport V3 Pedals At A Glance

Good: Good looking design, easily adjustable load sensor for the brake.  Comes with extra pedal plates.

Not So Good: Pedals are a little pricey, vibration motors on the accelerator and brake are gimmicky.

Overall Take: Good quality pedals, extra pedal plates a bonus, lots of adjustabilities.  Vibration motors are just silly.

Final Take

The Fanatec V3 pedals are the best pedal set that Fanatec has produced.  The quality of construction is at a higher standard of that of the V2’s.  I feel the vibration motors are a waste of time as I fee the ingame sounds, especially with iRacing, make for a better feel of what is going on in the car.  The easily adjustable brake pedal is a welcome addition and makes it easy for anyone wanting to get the right adjustment.  I have also purchased the damper kit for the brake pedal and it gives a real solid hydraulic feel to the brake pedal.
