Inspired by the real-world Knoxville Nationals run just last week, 60 of iRacing’s top 410 Winged Sprint racers will get the chance on Saturday to take part in the iRacing Knoxville Nationals. There are just two days left to compete in qualifying events for Saturday’s Super Sessions, so be sure to run tonight and Friday at 9PM ET (1:00 GMT) to stake your claim!
A D 4.0 and up Dirt Oval license is all it takes to compete. The top 60 in weekly points will be eligible to compete in the Super Sessions on Saturday at 1PM ET(15:00 GMT) and 9PM ET (1:00 GMT). The session formats are as follows:
- Split Sizes of 60
- Practice – 10 minutes (Track 0%)
- Qualifying – 3 minutes, 2 laps (Track reset to 3%)
- Heats – 6 races, 10 laps, Top 3 advance directly to the Main Event (18 drivers)
- Stacked Consolation Races
- E-Main, 10 laps, top 4 advance to the D-Main
- D-Main, 12 laps, top 4 advance to the C-Main
- C-Main, 14 laps, top 4 advance to the B-Main
- B-Main, 16 laps, top 4 advance to the A-Main
- Warmup – 5 minutes (Track reset to 3%)
- A-Main – 35 laps, 22 drivers, caution laps do not count (Track reset to 5%)
