The 30-minute qualifying session went without any issues. I ended up qualifying 40th in the top split which was just a second off pole so the field is very competitive.
As you would expect the race starting from 40th was going to be a lot of time avoiding wrecks and turn 1 first lap didn’t provide any surprises. After the first couple of laps, I was able to find my groove and more importantly didn’t have any damage to the car. I was able to work my way to 20th before being tagged exiting a chicane which put me back to 29th and that’s where I ended up finishing the race. Looking forward to the next round from Brands Hatch.
