Latest round of the iRacing Blancpain Sprint came from Barber Motor Sports Park in the US. It’s an excellent track with some fast flowing corners tight double apex turns and a lot of elevation changes to keep the drivers on their toes. The track layout makes for some exciting racing and spectacular crashes due to the unforgiving nature of the race track.
Qualfiying wasn’t too bad with a qualyfying position of thirteenth but sitting within a second of the front running competitors. The car wasn’t as fast as it was in the practice session but couldn’t complain with the position which should setup for a good race.
The race was very good finishing twelth and having some good battles with the other drivers. Overall it was a good race with a good bunch of points earned.
