The last round of the Sim Racers Asia Proto GT came from Road Americal, Elkhart Lake.  This legendary race circuit is one of the fastest road courses in the world.  It has 14 turns with a mixture of fast sweeping corners and tight bends.

Qualifying was pretty good with the tracks length getting a clear run in the 90 minutes session was very easy and getting a good tow on the straights from the faster GT1 and Prototype cars was good allowing for some extra speed on the straights.  After the qualifying session Benjamin Brook qualified in eighth place in the GT3 category and sixteenth overall.

The race got off to a good start without any incidents in the early few laps and Benjamin Brook found his rythem early in the race sitting in the mid pack, unfortuanately that's were the good run ended with losing control of the car a few laps into the race following closely with the battle pack ahead and putting the rear wheels onto the grass.  Fortunately no damage was done (apart from my ego) and the race continued on up until the first round of pit stops.  The race continued on without incident until needing a second pitstop then that's were the race ended with the youngest member of the family requring attention.
