Dashmeter Pro is virtual dashboard for iRacing which displays various gauges both in digital and analogue on your android or iOS compatible device. The software has a server side file which runs on your PC and an app that you download for your phone or tablet. Cycling through the screens is as simple as touching the…
At face value, Virtual Racing School (VRS) is just another telemetry logging and comparison software like iAnalyze or iSpeed, but it is much more than that. VRS is your one stop shop for setups (some of the top drivers in iRacing supply setups for each track in a season) but more than that you gain access to lap analysis and their optimal and best lap files so that you can try and follow their ghost car when testing.
Fanatec Clubsport Wheelbase V2.5 Review The Fanatec Clubsport Wheelbase V2.5 is the third generation wheelbase from Fanatec. Fanatec are an industry leader in design and manafacture of race sim equipment in the intermediate price range. Like other wheelbases the CSW 2.5 allows the attachment of different wheel rims that can add to the immersion factor when sim racing. The RS1 is a CAD designed sim-racing cockpit built from wood, but with the quality and design features of commercial rigs. The RS1 is a simplified version of our Cheetah series of racing simulators, and is designed to be easy to build with common woodworking tools. The RS1 is a “2-post” design, meaning there are no supports between the driver’s legs that can interfere with proper heel-toe driving. Also, the RS1 allows the driver to easily get in from the side like in a street car. There is no climbing necessary as with other racing simulators.
The Ricmotech APX 2000 single monitor sim rig is a new cockpit design from Ricmotech. Unlike their previous rigs which were plans that you could make yourself from MDF these new cockpits are modular using extruded aluminium. Like all Ricmotech products this new cockpit comes with lots of adjustability from seating position, monitor tilt and steering wheel position. All of these adjustments lead to the sim racer having the best and most realistic driving position just like a real GT race driver would.
Ricmotech’s line of race seats come in all shapes and sizes to suit sim racers of all sizes and shapes and will be a perfect fit for any cockpit that is based on a road GT style race car.
